How to Join          

Who Can Join?

To be eligible for membership, you must belong to one of the following groups:

· Employees of public school systems and members of the boards of education in Tioga or Sullivan Counties in Pennsylvania

· Employees of Blast Intermediate Unit 17 who work in Tioga, Bradford, Lycoming, or Sullivan Counties in Pennsylvania

· Independent bus drivers who are under contract with the school districts in Tioga or Sullivan Counties in Pennsylvania

· Employees and elected and appointed officials of Tioga County, Pennsylvania

· Unremarried spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union

· Employees of this credit union

· Persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment

· Members of their immediate families or household

· Family is defined as: spouse, children, brothers or sisters, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, and adoptive or “step” relations.

· Household is defined as: a person who lives in the same residence and maintains a single economic unit.  This includes roommates, domestic partners, same-sex partnerships, common law marriage and similar nontraditional living arrangements.

Your membership does not end even if you leave your original employer.  Once a member, always a member.

How Do I Join?

Membership is easy!  Simply call or stop in at the credit union office and fill out a membership card.  Deposit one share ($5.00) into your share account to open your account.  There are no membership fees.

 

Membership cards and payroll deduction cards must be done through the credit union office or a credit union representative.
